Description

PDF

Print:

  • no supports needed
  • printed from PETG with 30% infill, 0.6mm nozzle and 0.3mm layer height (but almost any other parameters will also work)

Parts:

  • 2x M3x8mm (M3x10mm will also do) screws for mounting to the prusa frame
  • 4x M2.5x16mm screws for mounting Raspberry Pi 4 and armor case to this mount
  • 2x M3xD4 2xL3.0 heat inserts (from aliexpress) as mount system to the frame

Assembly:

  • use soldering iron to put heat inserts into mounting recesses that will be used to mount on MK3 frame (these are not through holes to avoid later screws damaging GPIO pins)
  • screw Raspberry Pi 4 and armor case using M2.x5x16 screws to this mount
  • screw entire thing onto MK3 frame using M3x8 screws

The goal of this mount is to make removal from the MK3 frame easy, without a need for rpi4/armor case disassembly.

Fusion 360 and step files are available if you want to modify anything (like dropping heat inserts and screwing into plastic directly).

Dimensions based on https://www.printables.com/model/113793-raspberry-pi-4-mount and drawn in cad again.
