I purchased the Integy T3285 motor mount for my Revo 3.3 to Brushless conversion.  Me being new to rovers and inrunner motors promptly purchased the wrong size motor.  Rather than try to sell off the 1515 sensored brushless combo I had finally settled upon, I was adamant to make it work.  I also really liked the implementation of Integy's product in that it is mounted and adjusted the same way as the 3.3 motor.

The modification I created performs two functions:

  1. Primarily, the cutout better forms to the diameter of the 1515 motor and the screw-mounts are thickened to account for the roughly 2mm gap created between what I'll call the crossmember and mounting arms.
  2. As an added feature, one that spacers alone wouldn't do, is it shifts the motor back a few millimeters so that the mount just barely clears the rollbar/cage/carry-handle, yet still maintains some clearance between the upper control arm.  Prior to this adjustment the mount and cage would apply lateral stresses upon each other.

As of Sept. 2022 I am currently testing the V3 revision of my design.  The area around the screw holes is a bit too thin and one cracked during installation.  This issue should be corrected in the V4 revision, but I do not plan to print this until V3 encounters failure.

I suggest printing V4.

I printed using ABS @ 100% infill with supports and re-oriented with the long flat surface against the print bed.

You will need to provide at least 2x-4x M4x15 screws.  If only using two 15mm screws, use them on the forward-most screws to ensure they thread through the print and then into the aluminum.

Installation remains the same as the original part.

As this is a just a modification to an existing product, I didn't duplicate the entire product.  I also don't want to come into legal issue with something that is potentially patented.*

*If Integy has an issue with publishing this modification, I'll willingly remove this design.  However, I would request in turn Integy provide an accessory for purchase that accommodates these larger motors.
