I rearranged my TV above my deskspace and ended up not accounting for the filament holder above the printer. I used this opportunity to create a wall mount that utilizes the filament holder included with the MK3S. It supports 2-1 kg rolls of filament easily and allows the holder to grab the lips of the mount far enough away from the wall that the spools do not make contact with it.
The mount comes in 2 pieces (see attached pictures). You will need 2 M3 inserts and bolts to attach the base to the handle mount. You will also need mounting hardware to mount the assembly to the wall (obvs); I mounted my assembly with regular drywall anchors. The base plate is counterbored on either side to accept 2 #8 screws for wall mounting and 2 M3 screws to attach to the handle mount.
I printed the mount in PETG at 20% infill with a gyroid pattern, although this could definitely be made in PLA safely at a higher infill (haven't tried).
