Going outside during the COVID-19 outbreak is dangerous, so make every trip count! Don’t forget half of of the stuff (like me) by writing everything down right on the front of your fridge.
The holder keeps both, a pen and a piece of paper in place on your fridge, pin board or other metallic surface.
Additionally you will need a magnet, some (super) glue and a pen.
I am using a strong 10x10x4mm magnet with great success and the usual BIC ball pen. I have updated the model. It does now have a tighter fit and you should not need any glue to put it together. Just put the magnet into the pocket and close the hole with the little lid.
The model is parametric and fully customizable with OpenSCAD. This way you can make it fit any pen/magnet you like or simply make it bigger/smaller. If you have found suitable settings for pens common in your area please let me know and I will add a them as a download option. Feel free to contact me in the comments if you need any help with customizing it. Just post the size of your pen/magnet and will upload the right model for you.
For now the following STL files are available:
pen_95mm_6_sided.stl
for six sided pens, 9.5mm diameterpen_95mm_round.stl
for round pens, 9.5mm diameterTill then, stay safe and happy printing :)
It prints without supports as is. Your typical print settings should work just fine.
The author hasn't provided the model origin yet.
