This holder is designed to hold bar soap while promoting drainage and quick drying which helps bar soap last a lot longer compared to when it stays wet for a long period of time. If you're like me you've tried dozens of off-the-shelf soap dishes. For some reason they're always designed to either pool soapy water at the bottom or to drain through the dish; the result is always messy. This holder features a 45 degree angle incline to help drain water directly into the sink. Some soapy buildup will occur at the edge of the holder and on the hooks, but because it all dries quickly it's not dirty build-up. It works on both rectangular and curved sinks and is intended to be placed such that the front edge sits over the sink itself which is how the drainage works.
The overall width of the holder is 108.00 mm, the distance from the base of the hooks to the top is 66.811 mm (but taller items could fit – they would just jut past the top a bit), and the distance between hooks is 23.00 mm which is the minimum width of the item to place on this holder.
This holder is designed to be adhered in place with one 3M Command Large Picture Hanging Strips (16 lbs) placed toward the back along the width of the holder.
I printed this in PETG which is water resistant, but you should have no problem also printing in PLA with waterproofing parameters inspired by https://blog.prusa3d.com/watertight-3d-printing-pt1-vases-cups-and-other-open-models_48949/. Otherwise I printed with the 0.15 mm layer height Quality preset. That said I feel that this could be printed at a larger layer height and with Speed settings because there aren't overly fine details to express, just relatively large curvature features.
