RC Airplane Control Horns

Three different styles of R/C control horns for your homebrew foamy R/C planes. Designed for printing in PETG or ABS at 100% infill for optimal strength.

Flat horns are designed to be pushed through a slot cut in foam. Big horns need screws to attach. Small horns can use screws or 'pins' on the plate.

Notes:

I've printed these in ABS. Best strength to weight ratio.

PETG or PLA also works, but is not a strong.

How I Designed This

My first design in OpenSCAD

I find that when building scratch built foamies (IE FliteTest style planes) I always need various control horns of various sizes / styles.

These designs were done in OpenSCAD, and can be tailored for various purposes.
