All PLA -- the body tube was printed without bottom or top.
I had the OG Alpha (balsa!) and lost it a few years ago. This is "close enough" that I feel like I got part of my childhood back!

This model is great! It prints fast and works perfect. I used a cardboard body tube instead of printing one but everything else was used. On the maiden flight, the rocket flew really well.
I loved it so much, that I am working on a remix that includes an exhaust baffle, motor retainer, and a modification to the fin can. This mod thickens up the motor tube and widens it just enough to use a 18mm body tube as a heat sleeve. This was tested on my second launch and there was no deformation of the fin can due to heat. I would not recommend using the thin fins. They break pretty easy on recovery.
