Designed to carry a complete motorcycle puncture repair kit, this has the holes already in place to suit the rear of a BMW R1250GS, and most likely the R1200GS and others.
The existing number plate screws hold it to the bike, then a template is also supplied that allows you to drill four holes in a new number plate.
The GOM-Box has four holes pre-threaded to accept standard plastic number plate screws. Just carry a flat-bladed screwdriver for if you need to open the box, or do what I did and file down the end of the spanner in the BMW toolkit to act as a screwdriver.
DO NOT overload your GOM box. Keep the weight down as much as you can, but it seems fine with what I've put in. It's your responsibility though to ensure this is properly fixed and can't fall off.
