My scrap-grade retro rust bucket financial mistake 1983 toyota carina aa60 was in a desperate need of a proper electric fan wiring and there's simply no off-the-shelf solution to mount neatly a regular 12v relay and a fuse of any kind!

I could not cope with another ugly fix in this car so i've got to make this.

It hold an ATO/regular size blade fuse and a normal 12 volt relay (up to 5 pins) up top and 6.3 female blade (spade) connectors (terminals) are inserted (crimped and wired) from below.

You'll need to come up with your own way to mount the box, but i'm here to help you.
Any suggestions are appreciated!

How to use this:

  1. Download a Body part and a Cover of your choice. All 4 types are seen on a screenshot.
  2. Place them as shown on a buildplate.
  3. Print it with a somewhat resistant material. I've used PETG, 0.4 nozzle, 0.5 line width (this was way before the lovely Arachne came out), 0.2 layer height. No additional adhesion or support options needed!
  4. Disconnect your battery!
  5. Prepare you wires: cut and crimp them. The best way to connect such things is: +12V to fuse, fused 12v to leg #30 (power input, stands aside), leg #87 (power output, 87- normal open[the perpendicularly placed one], 87a [the center one, also perpendicular to power input and coil legs] is normally closed) to a fan or whatever's powered. One coil circuit (these are parallel opposing 85 and 86 legs, no matter which one is + or ground) leg should most probably be connected to ignition- switched 12v+, the other goes to a ground through a switch (in my case this is a temperature sensor fan switch). I'll try to ASCII-draw the leg scheme beneath.
  6. Put a fuse and relay in, connect everything, put the battery on. Engage ignition.
  7. Check if nothing blows and ground the last mentioned wire. It should put the fan or whatever's powered on!
  8. Clean up your wiring and put the cover on! :)

The legs/terminals on a regular switch relay are placed like this:
