My son wanted a Minecraft sword and all the other models seemed to have squared off hilts or strange proportions.
This Lego sword seemed perfect but scaling and printing at size was a bit difficult.
For this design :
There are two groups of models, one is the full model split into the 3 components. The other 6 are the same components but split down the middle and can be printed with no supports and glued together. (Though both sides are identical I've included all 6 files).
I printed this with the the three full components arranged at 45 degree angles and printed at 300% which is the perfect size for a four year old's hands.
Printer is Ender 6 with Biqu H2 extruder.
Fusion 360 project file included for future remixes.
NOTE: Corners were very, very sharp so might be a bit dangerous for young kids. I might go back and fillet the edges to make it a bit more kid friendly.
Next up is a stand!
