This is yet another Macro Keyboard / Stream Deck! There are plenty of awesome designs out there and many on Thingiverse, but none that wereexactly what I was looking for in a macro keyboard. The general design for the Teensy StreamDeck is loosely inspired by the Whitefox, and a heavy emphasis was placed on documentation, as many of the other options out there fall slightly short when it comes to putting everything together.

Documentation

Everything is documented here in this folder, from firmware, to assembly instructions.

What You Need

Here is the bill of materials used in the test assembly of this project.

In short, you're going to need a Teensy 2.0, a handful of MX keys, keycaps, wire, and diodes.

How you Build It

The assembly instructions have been collated in a big guide here. These include soldering, physical assembly, and loading firmware. Which is based on QMK, by the way, so it's super hack-able, if you're into custom keyboards.

What's it Cost?

Not counting filament and time, the Teensy StreamDeck should cost right around $40 to put together. Which is a ton less than some $120 offerings out there on the market.
