Anyone who has ever worked in a restaurant will tell you that stuff just always goes missing! Yes even the table numbers… Why? Who knows… but you lose a couple of them and then you have to go out and get a whole new set… or fire up Fusion 360 and just make your own, its 2022!

Enter 3D Printed Table Numbers!

My intention was to print them out of something durable and maybe heat resistant but eventually I figured best to stick to good old PLA as they will eventually need to be replaced either way, so keeping them cheap and easy to print was the best option.

Using prusaslicer makes it easy to get the two colour effect, it will automatically recognise them as a logo or sign and add the colour change G-code in for you. On my Flsun QQS-Pro and Q5, I replaced the colour change with an M25 custom G-code command as this is the pause print code recognised by these printers firmwares.

They are 40mm in diameter (which seems to be the standard for table number indents, at least in the UK anyway) and 3mm thick. The numbers are recessed by 1mm.

I have uploaded numbers 1-20 so far as that's all I needed at the time but more are on the way!
