Raspberry Pi 4B Models and Template

These models and templates can be used to test the fit, or to mark hole locations, for other parts designed for used with the Raspberry Pi Model 4B.

V2B - One piece; USB-C Power and HDMI ports printable but do not "work."

Use this model to check the fit of cases and similar uses.

This version is “exact” in that all of the components adhere to external specifications. The Ethernet and USB ports “work” in the sense that cables can be plugged into them; however the USB-C Power and HDMI ports are too small to accept cables (otherwise the walls are too thin to print).

V3 - Some approximations for Power and HDMI in this version in order to make it 3D printable; all ports "work."

Use this model when you need to check the clearance of USB-C power or HDMI cables.

This version is “exact” in that all of the components adhere to external specifications, with the exception of the USB-C Power and HDMI ports . The Ethernet, USB, USB-C Power, and HDMI ports “work” in the sense that cables can be plugged into them. however the USB-C Power and HDMI ports are slightly wider than specification (otherwise the walls are too thin to print).

This model may not fit some cases in the USB-C Power and HDMI openings locations.

V4 - Simplified template.

This template is a greatly simplified version of the above models, and is intended primarily for marking mounting hole locations. Components on the top of the board have been “ghosted,” and all components have been removed from the bottom of the board.

Print Instructions

Print in PLA using the gcode or 3mf files provided; in general :

• 2 perimeters
• 0% infill
• supports on bed (not required for template)
