This is another Tensegrity Table, but instead of one wire holding the upper part up and multiples pulling it down, it uses 3 to hold “up” and gravity to pull down. An optical illusion, though it only takes perhaps 10 seconds to figure it out. Still looks cool, so call it a “sculpture”. You could also use it as a stand for a bowl or vase.
Print two of the parts from the STL file. There are small cavities for hiding the ends of the wires in the arms. I used transparent ornament hanger wire and small beads tied onto each end of the three pieces after threading them through the holes in the parts. It could also be done with wires wrapped around the ends of the arms.
The 3D printed parts need no supports to print. Controls in your slicer can stretch it taller or squash it down a little if desired.
