Installing a stepper dampener on the Y axis of an Ender-3 causes the bed carriage to hit the motor. This can be resolved by moving the endstop 5.25mm in from the stock location.
I took the idea for this part from RobJohnC and went back to the open source CAD drawing and updated it for the 5.25mm offset and a 1.2mm fill on the two squares to match the injection molded part that shipped with my Ender 3. I also added some chamfers to the endstop mounting holes to make installation a little easier.
It should be relatively easy to turn this model back in to an injection molded part.
