This is a model of a small standoff for use with M2 screws, originally designed to be placed between a Raspberry Pi and a HAT board (Hardware Attached on Top). HATs often connect to the Raspberry Pi via the main row of headers, but can dangle on the other side with nothing to support them.
This is where adding standoffs can help, providing better support on all four corners of the HAT.

STL files for multiple heights are provided, from 6mm to 15mm in 1mm increments.
Use the 11mm size file for a Raspberry Pi and a Pi HAT.

The parametric Fusion 360 file is also included, it lets you change:

  • The height of the standoff (by default, 11mm)
  • Its width (by default, 6mm)
  • The diameter of the hole (by default, 2.6mm)

Make sure to print upright! See this page explaining how to place an object's face on the print surface with PrusaSlicer.
