When switching to a BMG Clone extruder on my Voxelab Aquila X2, it turned out that the filament sensor did no longer fit. It needed to move over a bit and be raised, so I designed this quick support/mount for this purpose.

Whatever works for you

Notes:

I ran through a few iterations to get it sorta right. It could be tweaked a bit more to get it even more precisely lined up but it works for me, so I stopped. I used the original two (M3) screws that held the filament sensor in its original place to fix the sensor to the mount. For fixing the mount to the plate, I used two M3 x 8 screws.

How I Designed This ===================

I used Fusion 360 to design the piece. If you are interested in the design file, let me know.
