The idea here is to mate the standard 5/8" (15mm) stud that you find on a studio lighting tripod to a clamp that can secure either 1/2" PVC pipe or 1/2" EMT conduit.

There are two types of adaptors - one splined, one not splined. Use the splined one to lock in the angle of the clamp. Use the non-splined one if you need more freedom.

There are two outer clamps, one fits EMT, one fits PVC.

Notes:

You'll have to arrange the clamps for best printing. I printed the splined clamp on its side and the non-splined clamps on their backs (non-clamping surfaces).

Post-Printing =============

Tap the hole in the side of the adaptor 1/4"-20 . You can use a 1/4"-20 thumb screw here, but I got some 1/4"-20 threaded rod, cut it to length and glued on a thumb nut. The clamps are held together with a 1/4"-20 x 4" carriage bolt, a washer and a thumb nut.
