I attempted to make my own laptop cooler (fans of course are not 3d printable) that suits my need.

  • Custom fan location
  • Custom standoff location
  • Fan blowing on the topside to improve cooling
  • Modular
  • Quite sturdy

The images you see is basically a draft but 90% done, feet are left to be printed but my printer broke in attempt to print the feet.

Use this https://www.prusaprinters.org/prints/19442-modular-skadis-panel to customize your size

I recommend this https://www.prusaprinters.org/prints/19443-braces-for-modular-skadis-panels to attach 4 panel tiles together

You can use the chamferred braces as feet, use eva foam as its bottom to prevent from sliding as well as putting some eva foam on the standoffs to prevent laptop from sliding side to side.

The "boost ....stl" file are meant to house a boost/buck converter, use with brace reference to attach to the plate
