This is a square section of 2020 T-Slot bar or rail (like extruded aluminum). Its dimensions are 20 x 20 x 20 mm. To use it, one would stretch or shrink the height of the model to the desired length. Being made of plastic filament, it is more flexible and less durable than extruded aluminum. I am guessing that it should not be used in critical applications that require maximum strength.
I made this to demonstrate via a diagram a locking bracket that I am designing that attaches to the 2020 T-Slot top and bottom rails of my Ender 5 3D printer. Then it occurred to me that someone might be interested in the the 2020 itself, so I am publishing it. Please be aware that there are many types of 2020 extrusions, and although the outside measurements may be the same (20mm x 20mm), one can find many subtle design variations in terms of the slot width, the edge chamfers, the center hole, etc. I have included a diagram with the measurements that I used.
