I used to have two 120mm fans attached with zip ties to my GTX1080, resulting in better temperatures while being quieter.

I recently upgraded to a RTX3080ti and since I am an owner of a 3D printer by now I made a shroud to fit 3 120mm case fans to the GPU.

Print Instructions:

Print it with something heat resistant. I used ASA.

I split the shroud into two parts, so it is able to fit onto “normal” sized printers.

Assembly:

First you have to screw the shroud onto the GPU.

I used 6x M2x8mm screws and nuts. This has the advantage that the shroud can be taken off without unmounting the heatsink from the PCB (unlike the original shroud from Gigabyte).

Then you can screw in the fans with normal case fan screws. There are only 2 screws needed per fan.
