My best-friend-besides-my-spouse wanted a coaster for her plants. I'd seen some hexagonal coasters with hexagonal grids to hold the object up, but I started thinking about making a hexagon coaster that had all of the cells underneath it connected, for optimum drip collection.
Like most stuff I do, it's an OpenSCAD parametric design. It requires you to install the BOSL2 library, but then you can generate a model in whatever size you want, from a shot glass to a large planter.
You probably want to use the Prusa guide to watertight printing to suggest the right combination of settings for your particular needs and desires if you intend to leave water sitting in the coaster for any period of time.
The author marked this model as their own original creation.
