Hey josh, any chance a version with the whammy bar is coming soon?
Hey josh, any chance a version with the whammy bar is coming soon?
Printed this in Bambu Lab Matte and it turned out great.
Hoping the whammy version comes out soon
idk why, but when i tighten things down between the two body halves, it's all crooked.
Has anybody done any modifications for non-low profile switches? I happen to have a lot of them so was wondering if it would just be the buttons that need to be changed in internal height
First time using a soldering iron, and even still, it came out great! I had to make a couple changes to the neck to get all my wires through, and modified the head stock for something a little different. Also decided to add some glow in the dark accents to the frets and start/select buttons.
I think it came out pretty rad, good design, thanks for sharing! (edited)
could you please share the headstock you used. it looks way better. thanks in advance
Works great. I modded the body to mount a Pi Pico since it works a bit better for the plug in play experience (especially since I wanted this for guitar hero instead of clone hero)
Maybe I'm missing something but the build doc seems to show the 2 bolts closest to the headstock for the Poly_FretsTop STLs should be recessed/countersunk like the one closer to the neck, but neither of the STLs have these recesses. Kinda spoils the aesthetic.
@ZaydenRobert_1794920 If you look at the Etsy page, the seller shows PDF screenshots of website showing it was at some point of last year open for commercial use. Which has obviously changed now on Printables and Thingverse to non-commercial.
So if nothing in the PDF's have been edited, when he downloaded and started selling the models, there were no license's being broken. Don't know how it changes for the seller with licensing changes to the original creators work. But, the changes may not apply to the seller given the licensing changed after the seller started.
