This pot is formed from a (virtual) stranded, twisted, coiled rope that gives it an organic feel.
I actually printed this in the orientation provided with no supports, in spite of the obvious regions in need of support. What you get in spots is a few fly-away strands that I broke off easily with a wooden stylus. (The end of a bamboo skewer would work great.) Printing without supports is much faster and way easier than printing supports and having to clean them up. And as you can see, you don't really notice the few snaggly patches on the underside of the coils unless you look at the pot from below.
