A functional record player turntable made from 3D printed and 3D printer parts, With proper AT3600L needle and adjuestable tracking weight. Testing of my 3D printed turntable (V1-V3): https://youtu.be/MylsAJhz4OQ

Features:

  • No need for belts and pulley. (Direct Drive)
  • Using TMC2209 stepper driver in stealthChop mode with 42SHDC3025-24B stepper motor for direct drive.
  • AT3600L needle with 3.5grams tracking force.
  • Adjuestable anti-skate weight.
  • Partially working Cue Lever for lifting needle.

Required (non-printed) parts:

  • Arduino Uno (or clone)
  • 42SHDC3025-24B NEMA17 Stepper motor
  • TMC2209 stepper driver module.
  • 695zz (5dx13Dx4H) ball bearing.(tonearm pivot)
  • Audio Technica AT3600L Phono Cartridge
  • M5x50, M5x25 screws and nuts.
  • Modeling clay for counterweight.
  • Small copper wire for anti-skate.
  • Small screws for assembly.
  • Old earphone cable for tonearm wiring.
  • 186mm x 10mm Aluminium tube (cut from dollar store floor wiper)
  • MDF board 470 x 300 x 20 mm (from old computer desk)
  • 29mm x 3mm Round Acrylic for platter. (or MDF platter or a few LPs)

All parts are printed in ABS with 20+ infill except stepperMountPlate which printed in TPU for vibration damping.

ACC parts are optional to print.

Require some experience with turntable cartridge installation and alignment and wood working tools.
