After finding out that Prusa ships the mini's with the connectors fastened at the bottom of the bed instead on the pads at the top. I wanted to change them to be fastened at the top.(don't like a burned house because of burning connectors)
But i really don't like the 'slide-in' cover they use for the mini. So i made a version that is inspired by the Mk3 heatbed cover.
The top part has more room so the connectors can be fastened at the top. Because it's a simple edit of the original step file, there shouldn't be a problem with the height.
Parts needed:
2x M3x10 socket head screw
2x M3 nut
2x m3 washers(for the nuts at the underside of the heatbed, so it doesn't damage the underside)
Use at own risk!
The 2 holes are closed for printing without support(it prints it as a bridge now, just punch trough the holes).
The original Prusa hole uses some fancy patern, but this is easier.
