It's a good model but I forgot to identify the X and Y before removing from the bed, now I'll have to print a new one tomorrow. And probably remix to add the identification to the axis. I also think it should be a bit stronger so that it don't flex when you are measuring with your caliper (not big deal if you are handier than me)
Hi, sorry for a novice question, but once it's printed and measured, what do I do with the numbers?
It is faster than a calibration cube. And very easy to customize. Printed in PLA
Printed in PLA with adaptive layer height. Had to enable thin wall detection. I measure in every direction 99.8mm. Now I have to figure out, how to compensate for that.
The X on one axis is a neat little detail.
I struggled to get it to adhere the bed, but thanks to the parametric feature, I managed to gave it more surface to properly stick.👍
But, my caliper does not have such long jaws, therefore I must measure XY from the top or bottom, not ideal.
PS: Don't drop it, it will break. Quite squishy. (edited)
I really like this one. I made some changes to my Voron 0.0 and was getting a squashed Z. This test tower enabled me to cycle through changes quickly as I wasn't wasting 98% of the print time on material I didn't need. (As it so happens I got the fix on try #1, but it's nice to know it wouldn't have cost me a ton of filament had it taken longer.)
