I needed to clamp a GT2 / 2GT belt for a custom SCARA design, with some tight spots. Most clamps don't run past a sprocket, or tend to slip if they do.
I was inspired by Idegraf's design (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1247615), but needed something more compact - hence this design.
There are three versions - each one consits of a top & bottom part.
Slim: has a 0.4 mm top layer, which affects the robustness somewhat.
Thick: has a 1 mm top layer, if thickness is less of a concern & robustness essential.
Staple: slightly different design, with the two pins being replaces by cutouts for two standard office staples. Just pushthem through the two halves once assembled.
Printer Brand: Wanhao
Printer: Wanhao Duplicator i3 V2
Rafts: Doesn't Matter
Supports: No
Resolution: 0.1
Infill: 100%
Notes:
Align the models with the pins / holes facing upwards. I printed mine with 2mm walls and 100% infill, but there is probably some leeway. Slower printing (20-30mm/min) will result in nicer printed teeth, and probably better grip on the belt.
If space is less of a concern: the design gets significantly more robust with a thicker top/bottom layer in the model (here only 0.4mm) - will upload a suitable file if requested.
