Single Dosing hopper for ECM S-Manuale / S-Automatik 64 coffee grinder (& bellows adapter)

Since I learned the ECM S64 coffee grinders have a huge retention area (dead space?) filled with old, already ground beans, I wanted to convert it to a single dosing grinder with a smaller hopper.

I took the dimensions of the MOAB Mother Of All Bellows into account when designin this hopper. The high and the low version both fit the bellows (i cut the flaps of the MOAB so it has an open bottom) of the linked project but only the high versions allows the usage of the MOAB insert (with or without MOAB flaps).

The snug fit onthe bottom ring that goes inside the grinder is intended. Give it a good smack and it should fit tight without wobbling. If you are unsatisfied, try enlarging or shrinking the model with your slicer or use some sanding paper or regular paper to find the fitting that you like.

The retention without a bellows is still quite high so I recommend the use of the MOAB. Smacking it 2-3 times after grinding (while still grinding) will give you 0-0,5g of retention which is quite nice.

Easy print in PLA without support (rotate top site down to the print bed, bottom side up!), 3+ perimeters for stability, 10-18% infill, seam:rear for better optics.
