I recently had someone request that I make them a Jellyfish. I found a nice articulated model on Thingiverse but it had some issues with the .stl files and also required glue. I decided to re-mix this model and eliminate the need for glue. Now the top and middle pieces of the model screw onto the bottom piece of the model. There is also a second top for the model available here: https://www.printables.com/model/383315-another-top-for-the-articulated-jellyfish-model. So try it out, the model should be relatively easy to print, but you will need a relatively well calibrated machine.
Print tips:
As I mentioned before, a well-calibrated printer will be very helpful for this print. I suggest using at least three perimeters to make sure the model is decently strong. Be aware: if you print the tentacles in separate pieces it is a little difficult to push the joints together, they are pretty tight. I added a 3mf file of the bottom piece of the jellyfish with the first link already in place, to avoid the challenge of inserting those first segments.
Threaded pieces:
To make sure that the threads are not too tight I suggest printing one of the bottom pieces first and then print a middle piece to see if the threads will work. If they are too tight then you can try to scale up the middle piece in the x and y axes (not the z axis, leave that at 100%) and try again. Once you find a multiplier that works you can use that on the top piece as well since the threads on the middle and top pieces are the same.

The top piece and the middle pieces came from the top thingiverse file. I did a bit of cleanup work on the top to make the bottom actually flat and added the threads to the top. I also added threads to the original middle layer and added a larger middle layer so that there are some options. The bottom piece I remixed directly from the octopus in the second thingiverse file, cutting it where I needed and then adding the threads. The tentacles come directly from the second file as well (I didn't change those). The second top that is in some of the photos is a remix from a file here on printables and is available here: https://www.printables.com/model/383315-another-top-for-the-articulated-jellyfish-model.
