The base has an inner hole diameter of 5mm for the 5Dia x 3mm high ND35 magnet. It is easier to use 2 of these to enable better centering of the text disc onto the base (one pressed into each end, with each protruding about 1 - 1.5mm).
With a thin circular bead of CA glue, the dimple in the underside of the text disc centers neatly over the magnet left protruding slightly in the base.
The outer diameter on the rear of the base center is just about 9mm which keeps the assembled disc from sliding off center to the side of the motor's spindle hole, thus keeping it turning when extruding.
Printed in silk black to give it a shiny 'feel' and sharper text-to-background contrast. While the text is ideally printed in Prusa Orange, I had to make do with PETG trans orange and retuning/ raising the nozzle temp about 15C just before the colour change prompt. For a more pleasing effect, it seemed better to create an elevated ‘ring’ on which the text was extruded.
Went in with a #11 scalpel blade to remove 'hairs', melting away the remainder with a hot air blower.
Enjoy!
