I modified it a little bit to serve another purpose and it works great. I tested a couple of similar designs and this one works best for my needs. Thanks!

Perfect. Printed with PETG.

0.6 mm nozzle, 3 walls, printed with exclusive tolerance for better fit with the threads and it wasn't too difficult to screw together. Great print, now I can worry less about my gfx card sagging! Printed in glow-in-the-dark blue PLA.

5/5 would recommend. easy to print with no support and works like a charm for my 3070Ti.

Depending on your printer I would recommend scaling down the threaded insert as mine was so tight I had to use pliers lol.

Great model.
Had to reprint the screw at 98% X & Y because the first one got stuck and broke off.

Worked great with my EVGA RTX 3070 XC3, the curved face fits perfectly and makes me feel a bit better about the sag! Had to scale the bottom section up by 1% in the X & Y axis to get the threads to screw smoothly. Printed in Matte Black PLA with the seams aligned to the rear for the best surface finish on the front.

@domocorn Just some slightly modified Prusa Mini IS settings at 60mm/s permiters. I'm using Matte Black PLA and I have the seem aligned to the back which is very obvious on the other side of the part lol.

@Jwidess Very nice! That matte black really helps

Hatchbox True Black PLA
Printed without IS.

Printed off and worked perfectly on the first try with no brim or anything, very well done! Replaced the carboard box that's been holding up my EVGA 3090! :3

Very clean design and fit the curve on the EVGA 3080Ti perfectly. Threads were a bit tight but I ran it in and out a few times and they loosened up. Printed from carbon fiber PETG to handle case temps over a long time. Thanks for sharing.

What's the designed tolerance in this design? Mine don't screw together, and I've printed loads of screws n bolts before with good results.
just curious.

Hi @Gizmo_40941, The actual STL files have a .2mm gap between parallel vertical faces. As for slicer settings I set an elephants foot compensation of .3 and no other horizontal expansion alterations. If the screw wont start at all then I would recommend tweaking that elephants foot setting otherwise if it is just very tight the horizontal expansion setting is where you're gonna wanna tweak.

Keep me updated if you're having problems maybe others are too and I can modify the models in some way! Thanks and hope this helps!

@Westy no worries, I printed a different gpu support screw that worked fine, it must have more tolerance.
although also a bit too tight for comfort, so must be my extrusion that's gone out of whack. I'll have to investigate :)
