Update 25th of April

New update consisting of three parts now. The center part can be printed flat on the bed. The legs which clip around the bottle neck are now inline with the layers to give it more strength than being printed perpendicular to the layers..

All parts will need support!

Created a wasp trap from scratch when not finding one between the thingiverse trap entries.

This one can be clicked on any soda bottle with a standard bottle cap. It clicks around the bottle neck ring tight and firm. Easy to disconnect by lightly move the clips outward when tilting the trap off the bottle.

The hook can be optionally used to hang the trap in a tree or wherever you want.

assembly notes

the legs won‘t fit the thread! They are supposed to fit around the ring below the thread. Force the legs one by one over that ring to let the hooks of the legs click around the ring and the bottle will hang correctly.

Resolution:

0.2

Infill:

10% and 100%

Notes:

I've used simplify3D to print until height 29mm on 10% infill, from that point I continued with 100% infill to be sure the legs are firm.

The hook is printed at 100% infill

I've used 2 perimeters and 3 layers for top and bottom. Might increase the top layers for the low infill setting to get a cleaner surface next time.

All parts need support
