I needed a case for the higher profile waveshare PoE hat and so made this one.
This was made so that the pi was completely covered while retaining access to all connections and allowing airflow.
The PoE HAT model (B) case has no additional openings other than what is on the Pi. If the I2C bus is needed then the wires can be threaded through the existing holes or a hole made in the side. I had no need for the I2C bus so thats why no hole is provided.
The PoE HAT model (C) case has a side opening for the usb power output, and if needed a hole can be made for the 12v power jack or it can be threaded through one of the other holes.
Both tops have openings for display cable, camera, headers, fan, and fan control. The screen on the model B fits in the opening while the passive heat plate on the model C covers the same space.
This case uses M2.5 hardware to secure everything together. The standoffs that come with the hats can be threaded into the base to secure the Pi into the base while the top secures with 4 M2.5x16 bolts (can maybe get away with M2.5x12 but it will be tight) and 4 M2.5 nuts in the shaped holes.
If placing on something solid you will need to put feet underneath so that the exhaust can get out.
I'll add some photos and maybe some more versions when I get around to it.
