I was needing 2 inserts. I had only one with the right diameter for 16mm diameter hose (The green one) and hardware store was close of course.

So no pb, a quick design in Fusion 360 and 3D print the missing part with my Prusa MINI in PETG. Just the color isn't the same, I had no green PETG filament on stock

Nothing special regarding the design and the printing. Just add some filets and chamfers to avoid overhang and use PrusaSilicer standard parameters for 0.10mm layer height

On top of .stl and .3mf files I uploaded Fusion 360 .f3d one so you can modify the design and adapt it to your needs

3D printing saved me the weekend

As usual, feedback and comments (and for sure "likes") will be always welcome. Feel free to post nice pictures of your makes

Enjoy

Edit 23/05

After verification the part is not sold separately. You need to buy the complete set (Insert, tap and nut) for around 1.3€

Edit 24/05

As I was also needing the nut, I designed and 3D printed it as well (see https://www.printables.com/model/212710-3d-print-of-a-compression-nut-for-garden-hose-conn)

Edit 30/05

The tap (missing part to complete the connector set) is now available (See https://www.printables.com/model/216693-3d-print-of-a-tap-for-garden-hose-connection

Update the .f3d Fusion 360 file with the complete connection set
