These templates are useful for marking or drilling theoretical centerlines on standard 2x4 boards. They should not be used for squaring corners, use a speed square as shown at minimum.

The hole is 1/8" diameter, located at 1.75" and centerline from the datum surfaces.   All boards are different, so any of these templates should be used only when a +/- 1/16" tolerance is acceptable.

The end models are for centerline (0.75" from the short edge), a few different variations are uploaded that should clear any clamps or surfaces as needed.

The openings for perpendicular and 45 degree models are designed to 1.56" to allow for board variation.

The 45 degree template is designed for screws ranging in length from 2"-3". The 45 degree models locate the hole just inside the short edge of the 45 degree board.

If the model imports extremely small, scale to 2540% (factor of 25.4).
