Description
PDFThis is a remix of psyvision's Rat Rig V-Core 3 IEC Surface Mount Adapter that has been modified for C20 receptacles.
Standard C13-C15 connectors are only rated for up to 15A. The cheaper IEC combo packs found on Amazon (for which the original model is designed for) come with only a 10 amp fuse and tend to melt before tripping the fuse. The Rat Rig V-Core 3 500 requires a larger 20 amp circuit when running at 120V.
This remixed adapter is designed to fit the TE Connectivity 20EEJ1 (Digikey part CCM1225-ND) but might fit other C20 receptacles.
Reminder: 20A circuits should use 12awg cabling.
