Slide nut for 15x15x1,5mm profile

So I wanted to have U-beams on my cnc table to fix my wood, previously I was using inserts but those where annoying to work with.

I could have ordered some C-beams from amazon for 60 euro or make my own for 7 euro. 

I used a 18mm MDF spoil-board milled out two 15mm slots, then placed in the square profiles and milled out the slots. The slots are divided in 2 to keep some strength in it. also on every end of the slot there is a hole where I can put these nuts in.

I still have to fix the profiles to the spoilboard with screws or glue.
