Have got into ham radio communications recently and bought a few radios. I started stacking them but soon i got submerged with wires and microphones. The thing is i didn't know which microphone was for which radio because they use the same model. So i decided to make a side mount for my radios. The part is pretty simple, it's just a plate with a mic mount that is secured by the two screws intended for the mounting bracket on the side of the radio.
It prints fine without any supports and with 15% infill on my PrusaMini+ with Prusament PLA.
There might be some strings on the top bridge but a good set of cutting pliers are here to help.
It prints very fast too, only around 20 minutes.
Works with the older Yaesu radios like the FT-100 and the FT-7100. I'm curious to find out with which other models it might work :)
Happy printing and good DX
