This is a wall mount to hold the Fluke 287 DMM (may work with the 289 since they are supposedly the same size, but I don't have the 289 to test it). It includes holders for the TL71 probes and probe tips that come with the 287. I mount this to the wall behind my workbench so that I can use the meter without having to remove it from the mount. This clears up valuable table top space. The mount does not require the removal of the stand on the back of the DMM. There are two posts for the probe tip protective shields. Two cutouts in the mount allow the storage of the alligator clip probe tips. The alligator clips slide in from the side. The fit is very slightly loose, so to snug it up, just pull up slightly and the rubber holds it firm. To remove, just push down to release the alligator clip and slide out to the side.
