Needed a grip that was more vertical. This works.
Print it upside down, minimal support need for grip cutout area. If someone is more capable than me, it needs some texture added. I printed with low resolution to simulate texture. It's still pretty slippery with PLA.
UPDATE: I added some grip to the larger file. Just simple grooves on the leading and trailing radii. Makes a good bit of difference without becoming aggressive.

Print upside down with safety detent hole toward platen. Had to add some support for the horizontal overhangs, but I'm sure you could bridge them in PLA.
