I build a fan controller using a Seeeduino Xiao microcontroller soldered to an ElectroCookie Mini PCB Prototype Board. I wanted a small case for this and similar projects such as those using an ESP32 D1 Mini or ESP8266 D1 Mini.

There is enough vertical height to socket the microcontroller and route wires.

The case has stand-offs to which you can attach the PCB (using the PCBs center holes, not the corner holes). Use m2.5 screws.

The bottom of the case has holes you can use to attach the case to wood or similar. I personally used VHB tape to attach it.

The case has three holes

  • One sized for a 4-pin JST-XH connector
  • One sized for a small (power) switch
  • One sized for a DC barrel (power) jack
