What do you do when you have a leaf switch button but no leaf switch, a bunch of microswitches, and it's COVID-19 outside?
You make your own microswitch to leaf switch adapter!
This mounts with #6 x 1/2" screws. The mount/base needs to be screwed in place then the switch lever is clipped in to place followed by the switch. Care must be taken to not break anything during assembly. I have included a version that uses M3x16 and M3x20 screws and nuts if you have a ton of those around and want a more robust solution.
I included a screw plate that you can print and glue on the side with good old cyanoacrylate if you have the space on your panel for the extra width.
I also remixed Adapter ring for pinball button by 3dwkl https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2459864 to include a mount for a short 5mm LED which I will use to light my transparent blue button.

Notes:
I printed the mount and lever on their sides with the microswitch mounting pins facing up.
In this orientation, supports are only needed beneath the microswitch support and between the lever support plates and pins.
The support between the lever pins is a pain to remove, but the support isrequired.
Remove the brim and supports. The support between the lever mounting pins is very difficult to remove. Please use caution.
Fusion 360
Ground up design made starting from the step file for an Omron D3V_01_1C22 and by measuring and modeling the leaf switch button I bought a few years back to make a Robotron 2084 control panel.
