Work in progress
My FLSUN i3 PLus became unmanageable after I added Raspberry Pi, Mosfets, TL Smoothers.
I wanted to put all of the electronics in an enclosure and cool all of them.
I decided to use a 120mm 12v fan (run @ 5v from MKS Gen L) on one side of the box with a grill at the other end. Each of the 4 sides holds each of the electronic components.
All the electronics boards are secured with PC case screws, and the sides and fan with zip ties.
I put some holes in the Raspberry Pi side so I could mount to the extrusion if I wanted to. I also filleted the mounting risers since I've experienced these parts breaking on other models. I also added notches and tabs to help everything align nicely. My led light strips are powered from Raspberry Pi USB port, Rasberrpy Pi is powered from 12 PSU via a buck converter @ 5.2v.
I'm still not happy with cable management, I'll adjust as I get more appropriately angled usb cables. It's quite tight in there so I might have to extend the boards at some stage if I feel necessary, we'll see how it goes in use.
Happy to adjust models for anyone who wants or has different boards.
