I got my self an optical end stop from aliexpress a few months ago and I needed a filament run-out sensor case for it ... I couldn't find something that fits this end stop so I designed this case for it...

it also has PTFE tubing holes to help to mount this thing to your extruder and or guide the filament to through it the thing has a tolerance of 0.5mm with except to the PTFE tubing holes to help where it has 0.2mm tolerance to make it tight fits I hope you like it.

update:-

I did add a new design (with name IOFS ) that solves the issue with bent filament (small bends) not being detected by the sensor this fix should deal with that.

also, I have noticed that some filament isn't going to be detected with this optical sensor like:-

severely bend hard filament after inappropriate rewinding as it has inconsistent filament diameter especially when the extruder is pulling the filament out from the spool affecting the week spots but if you have a good filament it will work with no problems at least this is the case for me.

and there is others like generic TPU (95A) because the material properties (I think not sure (a reflection of light) ) that will not trigger the sensor with or without this mount (even if you tried manually) and other filaments with the same problem including the hard ones.

I have no clue about the transparent filament for now...
