my prusa mk2s is a workhorse except one weak point: bed leveling tends to fail at point 3 (occasionally also 4 and 9). these are where the cable is stretched the farthest. I found out if I hold the cable's end firm in bed leveling I can fix the problem. thus I designed a brace to hold it permanently in place. post a comment to let more know if this fixes your prusa too!!
Edit: see https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P1EXh-SjkXI (not my video) for what failure at point 3 means. The sensor is triggered very high and the printer is "waiting for reset". This is not a calibration issue. Prusa customer service confirmed that it's caused by a weak PINDA cable becoming sort of broken over repeated bending and in newer models the PINDA cable is replaced by a thicker one. A permanent fix for this problem involves replacing the cable but it's a lot of hassle. I don't know how long my fix lasts but it's minimum effort.
