Around the world our waterways are losing the essentials needed to maintain a healthy ecosystem. This dock reef block is meant to help those that are living on the water to build an artificial reef under their dock or along their sea walls.

This block is meant to be used in multiples to create a structure that small creatures such as crabs, shrimp and small fish can live in and around and also provide a surface for animals like clams and oysters to attach to. Providing habitats for the smaller animals helps the whole ecosystem and you soon will be able to enjoy a variety of fish that call your dock their home. Each block contains a series of holes that can be used to attach several blocks together with either wooden dowels or PVC pipes to make an artificial structure as large or as small as you may want.

This one is capable of printing without supports as the surface finish does not need to be of high quality.

It is a large print, 200 mm x 200 mm x 200 mm and will take up the majority of your bed.

Depending on print setting, it will consume a large amount of filament.

Print instructions

Use fast settings. Layer height of .2 is fine. Low infil (10%-20%) as strength is not a major concern for this.
