I am building a small deck by our pool and I wanted an easy way to space the boards apart. So I came up with this design. I will press in (2) 3/16" x 1" steel pins for the spacer. There should be 3/8" (0.375") of pin sticking out to act as the spacer.

I included the design file in case someone wants to make a different size then go ahead.

The hole is undersized by 0.01" then I use a 3/16 drill bit to get a good fit. I printed it in PLA but I think TPU would work really good without needing to drill the hole.

You can find the pins here: https://www.amazon.com/gp/offer-listing/B00IZFXKRC/ref=as_li_tl?ie=UTF8&camp=1789&creative=9325&creativeASIN=B00IZFXKRC&linkCode=am2&tag=maltvat-20&linkId=07544351ab9ea7f003ff8b4dd0cde5e4
