The night I purchased my iPad mini my puppy jumped into my lap to see what was in my hand and the iPad almost slipped through my fingers. After looking at cases online ranging from $20 to $60 (why Apple?), I decided to design and print my own.
In order to print TPU and save an obscene amount of money purchasing a phone case, I upgraded my Ender 3 to direct drive ($60), dual z ($40), and purchased 1kg of TPU ($20).
The case provides full coverage on the back and sides. Gaps are positioned to avoid blocking speakers, buttons, or charging port.
I recommend printing with TPU, tolerances are tight to take advantage of TPU's flexibility and I wanted the case to be nice and snug.
