This is a safety hoop with integrated harness I made for my blind 18 yr. old pup, to stop her from banging her head against the door frame or walls.

The hoop is sized really small from exporting from Lightwave to an .OBJ file. So, in your slicer/3D program, you will have to resize to fit your pup. My Sienna is only 2lbs so she is quite small, so I was able to print in one piece.

Update 23/01/2021: V2 enlarged hoop and lifted higher, hoop now ends further back towards back of head.

Update 24/01/2021: V5 added an arm going over the top of hoop, from front to rear, to help hold the front of the hoop higher. Also made it more robust, the hoop broke while taking it off the build plate, wasn't enough infill. Going to print with a 40% infill and see how it goes, don't want to make it too heavy...

Update 27/01/2021 Final: Hoop was too heavy for my pup, so I slimed it out and made the arm over the head have a steeper arc....

PS...she still hates wearing it lol

Notes:

The head of you pup or cat goes through the middle of center hoop. There are two slits on the very end of the horizontal bars that you use to affix it to your animal. I used an old shoe lace till I can get to the store and get some hook and loop straps to go through the slits.
